5-3-2013 Cobalt Chrome for God's Anointed
I purchased this ring at the beginning of January to celebrate my 59th birthday at the end of January. I had just discovered the new materials now being used extensively in jewelry. I decided to invest in jewelry throughout this year to try-out all of these new, exciting, and very affordable materials (stainless steel, tungsten carbide, ceramics, cobalt chrome, etc.). Since cobalt chrome was more "pricey", I decided to start with this ring for this special occasion.
I was very pleased with this ring. I cannot compare it to platinum because I have no experience; but I have had plenty of experience with white and yellow gold. I like this cobalt chrome ring much better than gold. It has a luxurious look and feel; and the color is just exquisite.
So far, my 3 favorite rings (for everyday) are this cobalt chrome, my faceted white ceramic by this same maker, and my diamond-cut tungsten rings. I find that I like wearing my white ceramic ring all of the time. And I switch off wearing either my tungsten or my cobalt chrome. I always choose to wear my tungsten if I know that I am going to be cleaning (it is more durable, and I try to preserve my cobalt chrome).
I highly recommend Ceramic Gestalt. The 2 rings that I have are so comfortable and are of highest quality. My cobalt chrome has a holy feel about it and I know that it is an obvious consideration for a wedding band. I wrote this meditation:

The ring is very bright & shiny, it appears to be of excellent quality. But, I find it to be too thick for my taste. I think that it because of the combination of being comfort fit I the inside and domed on the outside.
