I ordered this to replace my gold band that I lost a few months ago. It came in the mail after only three days. It is super shiny, scratch resistant and heavy (about .3 ounces). I wanted something that was strong, shinny, powerful looking, smooth and just something I did not have to have a fear about wearing.
I'm in school for chemistry and learned that Cobalt is 5 times stronger than platinum and just as shiny. It is an abundant metal so that is why the cost is so low and now it can be sized to be bigger but they cant make it smaller. It wont be affected by typical solvents, it wont scratch easily and everyone asks me if it is platinum lol. Also, you can have it laser en-scribed if you want.
The only negative is about the site, not the ring so that is why I gave 5 stars. The sizes are wrong on this site. At the store I am 9.5 but on the site I had to return it twice, which was easy by the way, to get the right size. I wear a 9.5 in the store but for this site I had to order 8.5. SO just a heads, up, unless they fix it you will need to get full size smaller than what store measures you.
