We haven't had the ring long, so I don't have any thoughts on how it will hold up, but it's beautiful. Just what we wanted. It's thick and heavy, and seems sturdy. It's perhaps a bit darker than I expected, and the stripes are not as contrasting as they look in the picture, but we still like it a lot. This is one nice looking ring (My wife loves it just as much as I do) but, one thing to remember is that the ring is a little less shiny than the picture shows, and be prepared for a fairly heavy ring but that's cool with me I wear a movement powered watch on my left wrist as well and it weighs a ton too so I don't care so much about that and the watch is brushed/polished stainless so they match well. The price is good so if it breaks no problem just order another. It sure stands up to scratches really well I've been working hard with it on (I'm a plumber) and nothing. I have heard that very hard knocks will break this type of metal so I kinda put it through its paces short of hitting it with a hammer and it keeps on lookin fine. So, every now and then you gotta wipe it off with your shirt and its right back to its original shine. One very important thing the ring is sized perfectly so be VERY sure what your ring size is. You can have a free ring sizer mailed to you from Blue Nile [...] its a bunch of plastic rings with the size right on them so there is no doubting what your size is and most importantly its free it takes a few days but for free what else do you want. I went through hundreds of listings for a wedding ring I liked that was affordable before picking this beauty up.
I even purchased/returned another ring I initially liked more than this one but was disappointed when I saw it in person.
That was definitely not the case with this ring... This thing just gleams in the light, it has a very shiny/reflective look with the brushed lines accenting it beautifully. That picture definitely doesn't do it justice. And the price, oh that price is unbelievable when you actually see/wear this ring..
Now I'll be honest, the ring does have a hefty profile and is heavy so if your hands are skinny or you don't like weight to your rings then out might not be for you. The angled edges do offset the thickness well though, so it doesn't have a super thick/boxy look to it.
Seller also shipped very fast, 3 days when I shipped the saver (free) method.
Overall a great purchase, I hope it stands the test of time..
