8mm comfort fit but untrue gold weight By Greg M
This is a very nice ring for a good price, BUT, I purchased the ring and received it from Amazon and weighed the ring only to find out that the 14 grams of white gold that was specified for my size 12 ring was only 11 grams. I accepted the fact that my scale may be wrong so I took it to a jewelry appraiser and they weighed it and the ring was 7.3 penny weight which is 7.3 times 1.55 correction factor which equals only 11.315 grams. Being shorted 2.685 grams of gold at the current market price of $33.08 per gram is just wrong. Don't get me wrong, the ring is a nice ring but we should get what we pay for no matter whom the seller is. I did contact Amazon and they did agree to reimburse me the value of the gold that was not delivered. The delivery was as promised on the next business day. Kudos to Amazon taking care of this customer.

This is a beautiful and mirror-bright piece of white gold and well worth the price as my local jewelry stores wanted close to $1000 and even online, it was hard to find for less than $750. Given the current value of gold, I paid just a little more than spot price. It came in a sharp little box that I used to store my old ring which I outgrew. It was true to size, even with the comfort fit design. Free 1-day shipping for Prime Members is great, too! This is the exact same ring I looked saw at jewelry stores, but for approx 30% less. The ring is slightly domed (which is what I wanted) but this is not specified in the product description. I could not be any happier with this purchase! And it arrived faster than expected.
