After extensive research with real jewelers and speaking with the Amazon.com staff, I ordered this ring and could not be more satisfied. I was able to verify the manufacturing process to be the preferred 'die stamped' method (opposed to cast). I also verified the platinum content to be great than 95%, which is considered to be pure platinum by the industry. The ring is flawless.
Also, even though the ring is sold as part of the Amazon.com Collection, you contact the actual manufacturer that supplied it directly and register for a lifetime warranty, but you have to register within 30 days of receiving it. The manufacturers name is engraved inside the ring so you can search for them online. You may need to call Amazon to get a manufacturer's certificate in order to register, which they will provide upon request.Great ring, but sizes run a little big By JJ
The band was everything I wanted, except it ran a little big. I'd just gotten my finger measured at a jeweler the day that I ordered it, so I knew I was a 10.5. The 10.5 arrived and it felt like a hula hoop! Amazon's customer service was great though, and I was able to easily return the ring and order one a size smaller, which fits perfectly and feels great.
