When I saw this ring, I thought it looked almost exactly like the sun, with the golden & red hues in the picture.
I placed my order on the night of the 25th, & got it after 6 PM tonight. (The shipping is to DIE for!) I have to say that I was a bit disappointed when I opened the box. The design is much smaller than the picture, & the amber is 100% honey-colored, with no red hues within the piece. The stone, too, is also much smaller than the picture would have you believe. It's the size of a small drop of water, but with more height. I have uploaded pictures to the gallery so you can see what my ring looked like.
The design is your basic sun; nothing fancy. The ring size I ordered was a 9, & as expected, it is a bit loose on my right ring finger, but fits perfectly on the middle finger. The band is the same width all the way around, & the construction is basic, but sturdy. My ring was packaged with a card that details how to care for my ring, which I really appreciate. This ring is one of the first pieces of amber I've owned, so I've completely no clue on how to properly take care of it.
Overall, it's not a bad deal for $12, if you're looking for a cheap amber ring. But given the chance, I'd say look elsewhere for a better one (one that doesn't have an invisible neon sign that says "$12 deal!" blinking garishly over it).

This ring is absolutely gorgeous. The silver is shiny and wonderfully detailed, the amber is a beautiful honey color, and the sun is the perfect size. It's big enough to be noticeable without being clunky.
