This ring will not scratch & you it is the comfort band, so you dont even know you are wearing it! The only negative comment is that I had my finger sized by a jeweler before ordering and the ring rungs a half size larger, but I love it and always get compliments on it.Darker than pictured By Christine the car
I rated this a 4-star because I did not feel the product itself was problematic, however this ring it is much darker than the picture portrays. I am still deciding if I really like it. If you cannot tell from the picture the etching is flush with the surface of the ring. I am fine with that; it is the darkness I am not sure about. In the picture it looks similar to a white gold or platinum ring but it almost has a black shiny quality to it.
We bought two rings this one first for me and it was too wide and too large of a size. I anticipated that so that became my husband's ring. I got the 5mm for me and it looks better on my hand. We like that the rings match, it looks excellent on my husband, I just cannot decide if it is feminine enough for me.
I am a nurse and my engagement ring and wedding band with diamonds are just not practical and over time my husband's ring became too tight. So this was a good option for replacement.

Update: 2/4/13....I am not wearing this anymore. I decided that it really is not for me same reasons I stated in my cons and another con that I did not mention above was that it is thick as in stands out from finger. I had to exchange the first ring I bought because it was the wrong size, and the company returned it and replaced it with no problem whatsoever. This ring is the most durable ring I have ever owned. I wish the design was a little more obvious, but overall am very happy with this.
