Listen. I like fancy shit. Shoes? Suits? Watches? Electronics? Yeah, I go all kinds of fancy. Socks? Shoe horns? Yeah, I even make stupid things fancy.
So when it came time to get married I started looking at fancy rings. Platinum? Of course? Obscure designer from the North West with amazing back story? yeah that sounds great. But after hunting around and looking at the all the options I found myself drawn toward tungsten carbide. It just looks amazing, feels super comfortable, and I'm confident that I won't be scratching it up unless I'm handling a large pile of diamonds.
And really it just keeps getting better. When I got married I didn't know what width ring to get. Simple solution? Buy both. It cost less than like 1/1000 of the total cost of the wedding. Then after a few months when I felt the size was a bit too large, I just went ahead and ordered this size 8.5. Amazing. I now have 3 wedding bands. If I lose one, no one cares. I work in the medical field and haven't been able to wear my wedding set in years because we are only allowed to wear a plain band for germ reasons. Plus, even if I could wear my wedding set, I didn't want to subject my diamonds and gold to hand sanitizer every 5 minutes or take the change of losing it when I would have to take it off and put it in my pocket. This ring is really beautiful. It is definitely tungsten. It has a stamp inside the ring and it has the tungsten darker shade of silver. It's very shiny and very comfortable to wear. Hasn't dulled or scratched. I wear it everyday, all day long. Gonna get one for my husband too :)
