I went thru a couple of rings very early after getting married as I couldn't find one that I really liked... I wanted one that was super simple and basic with the whole "pipe cut" look. The first one I got was made of Titanium and I learned very fast that titanium scratches very quickly (or at least it does in my profession).
This ring hit the marks on almost all fronts... it pretty much has that pipe cut look to it although the top edges are very very slightly curved. it is a fairly heavy ring (which I like) and it is on the thicker side as far as rings go.
The inside of the ring (the part that fits over your finger) is very smooth and rounded perfectly for that comfortable fit.
Of course the whole process of finding a good ring is a very personal thing and the good thing about this ring is the price is not too high that if it didn't work out you wouldn't have broken the bank...love this ring By SC
