The ring looks exactly as pictured, colors are accurately represented. It was shiny, smooth, and the color strips are subtle in low lights and vibrant and impressive under light. The finish on the ring has a good shine factor as well. Overall the ring is sturdy and has a heavier feel than other rings I've tried.
One note: the packaging does not include a box - it came in a fingernail-sized ziplock baggie. Not a problem, just worth noting. I bought a nearly identical ring a few years back and it came with the sweetest box known to man. But this doesn't make any promises of a box, so no lost points.
