Lovely workmanship, fast delivery By Edward Scott
Only received today, so bear in mind I cannot attest to durability. This was one of a set of rings to fit my bride and myself on our RIGHT hands since we are being married in Philippines. We will also exchange gold rings to be worn on the left hands, but of course cannot afford that expense for both hands. We ordered the 6mm width for her and the 8mm width for myself, since that makes them look "more matched" due to the huge difference in size between 5 1/2 ring size and 10.

These rings were ordered Sunday night time, so officially the order was received by them on Monday morning. I got my shipment notice Monday afternoon and had the rings in my possession today, Wednesday morning. Can't get much faster than that with "economy shipping".

One thing immediately apparent was a difference in the color cast of the metal itself. Once you start looking at the photograph with this in mind, it's easy to see that the "silver color" is dark... actually much darker than a silver or white gold ring, and nowhere near the depth of sheen. But the craftsmanship of the ring itself is perfect and the gold plated band is solid and quite acceptable. But these rings should not be ordered with the thought that they will be mistaken by a bride to be or by her friends as white gold... it's a different look entirely, so don't try that... let her know it's tungsten, and educate her about what tungsten is, how durable, how hard and scratch-proof.

I personally love the look of my ring... very masculine and very heavy and solid feeling. Since my fiancee's ring is smaller width and diameter, it too looks very nice to ME, but she won't see it in person until I travel there in three weeks. The best of luck to me. She does know that it's tungsten and inexpensive.

Update: 6 months later there's still not a scratch on my ring, not even the gold plating. I do take it off when I'm doing heavy machine work, but that's more of a safety thing than protecting the ring itself... I know if a machine caught THIS ring it would be bye-bye finger.

The ring arrived quickly, was packed well, and met expectations. However, do note that the brushing on the actual ring is not as harsh as in the product listing photo. The brushing is soft, but contrasts very well from the polished edges of the band. It's very well weighted, and a 9mm band looks a little more substantial and masculine compared to an 8mm band (I tried an 8mm ring before settling on this one, and was initially afraid this one would be too large), even on slimmer fingers like mine. Very satisfied with this ring.

The metal has a nice weight to it and yes it does not scratch at all! I love that about Tungsten Carbide - great shine too. I was let down that the masonic square and compass was not stamped in - its printed on and I was always worried that it would scratch off. great ring, looks beautiful my husband works construction type work with his hands and so far the ring is holding up better than the real expensive ring I bought him when we first got married, that ring got destroyed in a year. I bought one of these rings, and I really love it. Always shiny, won't scratch, seemed perfect.
My only complaint is, the gold just won't last more than about 3 or 4 months on my hand. The second one I purchased lasted about 4 months, and is now completely gold-less. Not nearly as eye-catching without the gold band.
For the price, it's hard to really complain, but just be warned about this issue.
I would love to get it re-plated, but I'm doubting I could do that for cheaper than what it cost to purchase it in the first place.

Now to the point -

The ring is a little darker that it is in the picture, but I actually think it looks a lot better. The ring has weight which makes me think it is real tungsten, and the comfort-fit is no lie.

Also - I see a lot of reviews saying to order half a size smaller, this is only true IF you have never tried on a tungsten.
I went to Sears, tried on a size 9 comfort-fit tungsten, and it fit, so I ordered a 9, and it fits perfectly.

Overall - very satisfied with the purchase. Looks great, feels great, and great price :)

Will update in the coming months to catalog any (hopefully none) scratches etc

This is one beast of a ring, very masculine and great craftsmanship. The picture is really blur and doesn't do it justice, in real person it looks astonishing, with shinier edge and overall a darker gray color. The grooves adds a perfect finishing touch to the ring, which makes it look very masculine on the 9mm base.

I'm a great Tolkien fan and I can actually read the runes of the ring (that makes me a winner with the ladies xD...)

Anyway, I was somewhat disapointed when I found that this ring does not have the proper lettering.

That is: The poem "One ring to rule them all..." and so forth has four lines. Two on the outside part of the ring, two on the inside. This one however, has only the first two lines repited twice on the outside and twice on the inside. (That is, Ash Nazg Durbatuluk, Ash Nazg Gimbatul).

The ring is pretty nice, though. has a nice weight and everything. And well... no one will notice the difference. Unless I find myself in company of literate Orcs...

So far so good, I have had it a couple of weeks and it has not scratched or anything yet. It looks nice and fits comfortable (although I am usually a size 10 and had to get a size 10.5 because the 10 did not fit like a normal 10.

My only problem is what someone else said in another review. For some reason I do not understand, the ring only has the first part of the poem, "One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them" and then repeats that same line on other half of ring. Why does it not finish the poem "One ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them" ?? Is it a copyright issue? is another ring maker the only one given the rights to the whole poem? I do not know, but it makes it not feel right. So, it looks nice but it takes away a lot of the excitement of wearing it when you know it only has half the poem.

But for the price I guess you can't really complain, I hope in the future to upgrade to a real replica (but those are all like $1,000+, so for now this $19 one will do).

I purchased this comfort fit dome ring to replace my tungsten wedding ring that had grooved edges. The grooved edges on my previous tungsten ring collected dirt and grime and made it very difficult to keep clean. they would also get hung up on things like my pockets and they were semi sharp which made it uncomfortable for my wife to hold my hand.
This ring doesn't have any of those issues. it fits amazing. looks amazing. super comfortable and i haven't had to take it off since i received it about a week ago. i would take off my old ring daily to give my fingers a break. this is the most comfortable ring i've ever tried on and probably the least expensive! the quality is amazing and its an absolutely gorgeous ring.

It also fits perfectly, and the edges aren't too narrow, so it's easy on my hand. I love it!

i bought a ring similar to this (same material) from a big name brand jewelry store. I paid $300ish for mine. wore it for 3 years and loved it. it broke this year. keep in mind that tungsten carbide is a very hard brittle metal. it will not bend, it will break. on the up side it will not scratch. i work in a steel warehouse and wore my wedding ring every day at work and never picked up a scratch. i bought this ring as a replacement and the quality is every bit as good as the $300 version i had. thanks amazon for making me feel stupid for buying one that cost 10x as much. wont do that again. would buy this one again though.

Major flaw in design. By Christ
I am assuming that when most people look for a claddagh ring, they are looking to invest in the symbolism that it carries. Now, most people understand that the general purpose of wearing a claddagh ring is to demonstrate, depending on how you wear it, your relationship status. That is what I was looking for, and that is exactly what this ring does not do.

I was rather disappointed when my ring arrived to find that the claddagh symbol is imprinted three times around the band IN OPPOSING DIRECTIONS. This obviously makes it impossible to make the heart point solely in one direction or the other, as the band will invariable rotate whilst on your finger. This completely defeated the purpose of the ring for me. The photo should include more than one angle on the ring and/or the description should inform the buyer of the construction of the ring's design.

If you don't know/care about the symbolism of the claddagh ring, then you can ignore this review, as it appears to be a decently contructed ring, thus far. (Maybe not worth $50, but that is neither here nor there.) If you are looking for a claddagh ring to wear for it's directionality, look elsewhere!

This bracelet started losing it's color before I finished putting it on my wrist. It is heavier than any of the less expensive micro bracelets that I have purchased so I thought that that meant better quality. I was very wrong. The bracelet is of very poor quality. Do not spend $29.00 on this item, take my word for it, it's not worth it. On th other hand, the shipping and customer service was fabulous.
