a couple things to know:
- the polished center groove is much smaller than what appears in the photo, it's about as wide as the tip of a ballpoint pen
- amazon says the ring comes with a wooden box, it actually comes in a generic velvet blue case
- i ordered two rings a 9 and a 9.5 and one was at least a size 12 so nobody double checked the sizes before shipment
- i returned the complete order because i had a bad taste in my mouth from these issues but of course amazon has great customer service
- i would only order jewelry direct from amazon (which this ring is) but just keep in mind the above comments for this particular product.Exceptional! By Just Another Shopper

I need to thank the person who reviewed this item prior. Even though they only gave it a 3, I am giving it a 5! It was that persons review that made me purchase this ring. My husband lost his platinum wedding band on a trip to Australia. With several airports and planes, we just didn't have the confidence that it would be returned. So we went on a hunt to find a ring that was as close to my husbands orgininal band as we could. Believe it or not - it wasn't that easy 10 years later. The original jeweler wanted us to replace it exactly as it was, but with no insurance (learned our lesson)and the cost being around $3500, I had to look for an alternative. I researched for about a week what material would be best and most cost effective for our budget and settled on palladium. I discovered that the item number listed for this ring here on Amazon is actually a Benchmark ring that other retailers are selling for more. Because there was no stamping on the inside ring whether it was 900 or 950 palladium, I contacted Benchmark directly, gave them the item number (Amazon is using Benchmarks identifying number as their item number) and they confirmed to me that the ring is 950 palladium. By the way, the ring is stamped Benchmark Palladium. The other review is correct, the center cut is not as wide as it appears in the photo. However, this was the exact bit of information that made me purchase this ring. I received it today with Prime Shipping - it's a beautiful ring and well worth every bit of the money we spent. It's still not my husbands original wedding band but it will be a very close replacement. Now let's hope Murphy's Law kicks in and we get a call that someone found my husbands ring and turned it in! Thanks Amazon for making a sad situation a little happier :)
