Exactly what I was looking for. By dorie
I was looking for a ring to use instead of my actual wedding ring while studying abroad in another country. I was afraid of losing my actual wedding ring, and I wanted something that looked similar (and real) to wear. I was a little skeptical about ordering a fake ring online, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is very sparkly, and the band is nice and smooth on my finger. I don't think it would fool any one for being real if they were to look closely- it's VERY light weight... a diamond this big would feel much heavier, and the setting isn't what a true jeweler would use for a ring of this size. However, I don't plan on passing the ring around for people to inspect, and from a distance you would never know it's fake. It's pretty, in-expensive, and I feel as glamorous as I do with my actual ring- so all in all, it was exactly what I was looking for.Great Ring, Better Price! By Clurra
The ring arrived quickly. I was happy with the quality of the ring, especially the band. I was nervous due to the lack of reviews and cost (surprising, as this is an in-demand style). The ring is as shown in the pics, the stone has a wonderful shine. Possibly will not fool *everyone* it's a real diamond (I suspect CZ) but a mighty pretty CZ it is! Very happy, and on a budget, this bride-to-be will not be caught blushing anything but those feel good feelings an engagement ring should inspire. This ring looks like it could hold its own for a few years; perfect for what I wanted and holds true to what I hoped it would be. Also came in a much nice box than I thought, though you may want to shop around for a wooden replacement as I did (they also do those on a budget here too). I'll try to keep updating this on the way it holds up to friends, family & time for others who aren't sure!
I ordered a size seven - which is the U.S average. It was a good (if snug fit) on my slightly bulky hands. Size 7 would work for most average people, I'd go one either way if in doubt.
2 month update:
2 months in and the ring still looks great. A quick wash now and then brings back the shine. It has a crack on the side which I could have replaced with the 30 day warranty but forgot - haven't contacted seller. The stone did pop out when I trapped my hand in the door, but was easily replaced and the prongs tightened without damage. Otherwise, holding up to a great deal of effort on my part to test it! It's big and shiny but the stone almost feels like plastic. For the price, it's not a bad ring but definitely not believeable. I was wearing it for fun while my real engagement ring was being sized. But it would make for a cute bachelorette party favor.
