My third ceramic ring from Amazon By Daron Levy
Firstly, I'm a man, and I use ceramic rings as my wedding ring for several reasons. They're not conductive, they're light, and they're easily replaceable. I sometimes work inside computers or other electronics, sometimes carry heavy stuff, and I also type a lot. My rings have to be resistant to dings and scratches from handling sometimes sharp or abrasive materials, not fry my finger off if I accidentally touch it to the wrong connector, and still look good. They also need to be light weight, and smooth, because having a heavy or rough ring is very irritating when spending lots of hours typing. This ring totally meets all of my requirements, and still looks good. My wife thinks this new one looks better than my last one, which had a green Z pattern inlay instead of the silver fiber pattern inlay that this one has.
Now on to why it's my *third* ceramic ring...
My first ring was too large. Some sellers offer these in half sizes. I ordered 11.5 because that's what a jeweler recommended for my ring finger, but the ring that showed up was too large. My guess is that these are made in full sizes, and the seller defaulted to sending the next size up when I ordered a half size. Luckily, size 11 fits just fine.
My second ring got lost. These are smooth enough that they will sometimes slip right off of my finger after I wash my hands. My second ring did just that, and I didn't notice. I never found it again.
I actually wore the second ring for just over 1 year, and it was from the same manufacturer as this one. The second ring never did show any dings or scratches during that year, and the inlay kept intact and shiny. I wore it in the shower every day, worked on cars and computers, etc. It still looked brand new after a full year. That's why I decided I'd order a third when I lost it. Also, I've never had any problems with it oxidizing or leaving one of those green marks on my finger that I sometimes get from cheap jewelery.
